Netsec raises more than $10M to grow its AI-native solution for cybersecurity and IT

The round was led by Partech, with participation from Primo Capital and View Different (Diego Piacentini).

Paris, October 6, 2026. Netsec, the European company that manages IT and cybersecurity end to end as a single operator, today announced it has raised more than $10 million in equity funding led by Partech with participation from Primo Capital and View Different (Diego Piacentini). Netsec's investor base also includes Riccardo Zacconi, Kima Ventures, Ithaca Investments, Vento, Vito Lomele, Everywhere Ventures, and a group of angel investors from the cybersecurity and technology sectors.

The cyber threat landscape keeps getting tougher, with ransomware, phishing, and supply-chain attacks now hitting companies of every size, even as NIS2 and DORA raise the compliance bar across Europe. Yet mid-market European companies still run their IT and security across a dozen disconnected vendors: device management, identity, endpoint, network, SOC, and help desk, each with its own portal, contract, and escalation path. The traditional fix, a managed service provider bolted on top, only adds another layer that bills by the hour and reacts after the fact. The seams between those tools are where breaches start, costs accumulate, and internal teams burn out, without a single party being accountable for the whole.

Companies don't need another dashboard. They've got plenty of tools, but no one is actually orchestrating them as they should. They need someone to own both cybersecurity and IT as a whole. We built Netsec so mid-market companies get the security and IT operations of a much larger organization without having to build them in-house. Today, after just a year of activity, we manage thousands of endpoints for clients across Europe and the United States. We run an incident response retainer with a median response time under 14 minutes across thousands of tickets received as of today. Building on that traction, the capital raised in this round will fund the build-out of our automation and integration layer, alongside expansion of our operations and continued growth across both markets.

Gianluca Varisco, CEO and co-founder of Netsec

Netsec reimagines the managed service provider for companies that have outgrown reactive, hourly IT: a single accountable operator across the full stack, from onboarding and offboarding, to SaaS and access sprawl, to patching and audit evidence, the high-volume work that falls through the cracks when no one owns it. The model pairs a unified technology stack with a team that owns the outcome end to end, with AI-powered automation handling the repetitive work so human operators focus on judgment and response. It is delivered through the tools teams already use, Slack and Teams, and priced per employee rather than per ticket. Requests resolve in-thread, incidents route to a named operator, and security and IT operations run on one subscription rather than a tangle of vendor invoices.

Managed services have always scaled with headcount. Netsec breaks that link, pairing a single operator with automation that absorbs the volume work. The team at Netsec has the operating depth to make the model hold as it grows. That is a rare combination and we are pleased to join the founders in their journey.

Réza Malekzadeh, General Partner, Partech

We back founders as much as products, and Netsec is a team of operators who have spent decades building and defending major businesses and institutions across the world. That international tenure shaped how they think about security, not as a compliance checkbox but as an engineering discipline that has to work everywhere. With regulatory pressure rising and threats only intensifying, that's precisely the team you want in the arena.

Founders

Gianluca Varisco and Guglielmo Reina first worked side by side at Rocket Internet, and stayed in touch as their careers took different paths. Gianluca went on to lead security at Arduino and the Italian Government's Digital Transformation Team before joining Google Cloud as a Principal Security Architect, while Guglielmo moved into tech investing at Global Founders Capital and 468 Capital. In 2025 they founded Netsec to become the single accountable operator for IT and cybersecurity, combining Gianluca's experience running cybersecurity and IT at scale with Guglielmo's view of how fast-growing companies are built.
